This gesture appeared to cause offence among a number of the Arsenal substitutes, in particularStephan Lichtsteiner, who was warming up on the sidelines at the time, with a a Spurs player pushed during their celebrations.The situation escalated further as players from both teams got involved, with Dele Alli taking issue with Arsenal midfielders Matteo Guendouzi and Ramsey, prompting Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to race out from his dugout to join in.3

Once the situation was under control, England international Dier then pointed at Ramsey, ordering him to ‘sit back down’.A second-half substitute, Ramsey came on to have a hand in Aubameyang’s second goal, before playing a through pass for Alexandre Lacazette to score and inspire the Gunners to a 4-2 win.Following the match, the Welshman took to Instagram and shared with his 3m followers a picture of him on the pitch along with the caption “Sit down he said!” referencing Dier’s comment and he also added a winking emoji heart to the post.3

Ramsey, who has not been offered a new deal by the club, is set to leave in either January or the summer and is wanted by a number of clubs including Real Madrid.
